The upstairs accommodation suite is 510 square feet, open concept with full galley kitchen and 3 PC bath, and is booked year round as daily (summer) or monthly (winter) accommodation.

The small home behind the café totals 616 square feet over 3 levels with a full galley kitchen, pantry storage, 3 PC bath, living room and loft bedroom. This small home is a new build, completed in 2018, and is built to meet and exceed the current building code.

The Cafe is housed on the downstairs floor of 1,020 square feet, with a 30'x17' seating area for 35 patrons and 8'x25 foot deck for 12 patrons (47 person total capacity).

The café is located on a 25’x100’ lot beside the most popular of Dawson City’s heritage buildings, the Leaning Buildings (or Kissing Buildings) and is across from Brown’s Harness Shop (the Government Agent office and Liquor Store) and Red Feather Salon, and is one block from Dawson’s oldest Hotel & Bar, The Westminster Hotel and Pit Pub.

With the Alchemy Café’s unique fusion of Steam Punk, Timberframe and Gold Rush Heritage meets Rustic, the Café has always attracted media attention.

The café has been photographed or featured in numerous magazines and publications and has been featured on the French-Canadian TV shows of Yukon Parle Francis, Au Coerce Du Yukon, Le Gout du Pays, and Carte De Visite.

The Alchemy Café is the unofficial hub for French Culture in Dawson City.

The Café has experienced steady growth since its launch in 2014, as Dawson locals and visitors have responded with enthusiasm to the Alchemy’s specialty coffees, organic meals featuring wild and locally grown produce, and on-site fermented Kimchi and Kombucha Tea.

The Alchemy has developed a following for their café-developed organic desserts that are as healthy as they are delicious.

2019 is the first year to add the additional income from the year round rental of the small home in addition to the suite above the cafe.

More than 100 people in the Dawson community came together to help for the construction, and the Cafe has continued to be a Dawson gathering place and host for local events.
